Dear dr. Offit,

I am writing to you as one of the key representatives and spokes persons for the pro-vaccine movement, asking for your advice.

There is a rising interest in vaccines in the Netherlands and Belgium. To serve the market of interested readers I am considering translating the excellently documented book "Dissolving Illusions" by Suzanne Humphries and Roman Bystrianyk into Dutch, which is also Flemish Belgian.

I would like to make available to the Dutch readers an equally well-documented book that more strongly represents the pro-vaccine point of view. I am turning to you for advice.

I find it unpleasant that I am forced to say I cannot use any of your own books to serve the audience I am translating for. Studying your books was like working in my beloved garden. There the earth is flat - as I flatten my plant beds with a plank - and the sun dial proves beyond doubt that the sun revolves around the earth. However, as scientist I bring in as many data as are available to me to support the point of view I will settle for. When I do that with your books, most key statements prove untenable. It would hence be a waste of my time to translate any of your books on vaccines into Dutch.

My question is: can you recommend a book expounding the pro-vaccine point of view in a suitably documented way that I may translate for the Dutch and Flemish-Belgian markets?
